How Hospitality Can Successfully Adopt and Sustain Lease Accounting Compliance
Wednesday, 21 September
10:00 am CST (UTC - 5.00)
Sponsored by: Visual Lease
Are you confident in the progress you’ve made towards adopting the new lease accounting standard, ASC 842? Unfortunately, a staggering one-third of private companies are still not prepared to make the transition. This creates massive pressure to retroactively learn the ins and outs of the lease accounting standard and organize lease details in advance of the initial reporting period under the new standard.
Further, rushing through this increases your risk of misreporting lease information, which can ultimately result in significant negative consequences such as a failed audit, increased fines and/or fees.
Visual Lease wants to help you prepare to confidently achieve – and sustain – lease accounting compliance. We know businesses in the hospitality industry often have hundreds (or thousands) of leases, particularly real estate leases, which contain complex, lengthy terms. And after you accomplish initial adoption, these leases must be continually tracked to maintain compliance with ASC 842.
In this webinar, lease accounting experts will share:
- What is ASC 842? How does it differ and relate to ASC 840?
- Best practices and tips to achieve and sustain lease accounting compliance
- Lessons learned from public hospitality organizations
